Objectives

  • To attract outstanding talents from CNU undergraduate programs and excellent freshmen from other universities to CNU graduate programs
  • To select talented students for the General Graduate School’s integrated MA-Ph.D. Degree Programs to foster excellent research capabilities and academic successors that represent CNU

Eligibility

  • (Selection Criteria) Successful freshmen applicants for the General Graduate School’s integrated MA-Ph.D. Degree Programs who meet both the criteria of the college headquarters and relevant department
  • (Retention Criteria) Attaining a GPA of 4.0 (out of 4.5) or higher in the previous semester + Satisfying the retention criteria of the relevant department → Those who fail to meet those criteria will automatically excluded from the scholarship benefit.

Integrated MA · Ph.D. program
  • [Criteria 1] Students who graduated from a department which is in the same field of study +
  • [Criteria 2] Students who graduated a BA program with 4.0 (out of 4.5) or higher GPA
  • ※ International students will be subject to this criterion

Selection Procedure

  • Applicants (students)

    - Fill out the application form (including the recommendation letter*)
    * Submit to the department head through the prospective advisor professor

  • Department Head (of undergraduate school)

    - Collect the application form and recommendation letters
    - Submit them to the dean

  • College (undergraduate school)

    - Collect application forms
    - Submit the list to the dean of the graduate school

  • Innovation Headquarters of Graduate School

    Selects the scholarship recipients of GS-PHF

Submission of Application Form

  • In the event of disqualification due to circumstances such as employment, voluntary withdrawal, double benefits, violation of retention criteria, etc., students should submit a disqualification notice (Attachment 3) via an official letter.

  • - Application for *(Attachment 1), recommendation letter for scholarship (Attachment 2) and all the relevant materials
  • * Submit them in PDF format while original document is kept by administration office.
