Since its establishment in 1952, Graduate School at Chonnam National University is proud, producing more than 26,000 graduate students who were awarded Master's and Doctoral Degrees, to stand tall as an institute of fostering future generations of scholars, extending beyond the boundary of the region and the nation and contributing to the prosperity of the world. Also, as a birthplace of democracy of Korea, Chonnam National University has shared the pain of modern history of Korea and has greatly led the nation towards democratization.
