Course Registration

1. Course Registration Period: Feb 13, 2020 ~ Feb 20, 2020

2. Add/Drop Period: Mar 16, 2020 ~ Mar 20, 2020

※ Classes begin: Mar 2, 2020

3. Procedure of Course registration

- Click the class registration system in the website: http://sugang.jnu.ac.kr or

- Log in to the CNU portal website http://portal.jnu.ac.kr → Academic Support → My Academic Affairs → Courses → Course Registration

※ For your information, Internet Explorer is recommended web browser for using the CNU portal.

※ Students should log in with their student ID and password. For freshmen, ID: application number, PW: yymmdd

4. Note

- Check the required credits for completion of course

: Before application for classes, Students are required to confirm the required credits (major and supplementary course) of each department and to check credits earned and the courses to take. This step will not cause any problems with graduation or completion.

- View the course schedules and syllabi with individual ID

- Maximum number of Credits: 9 credits per semester for regular graduate school

※ The following students may apply for a special exemption to take more credits

1) Students who had a GPA of above 4.0(more than A in all subjects) in the last semester: 3 extra credits

2) Students who register for a supplementary course: 6 extra credits

3) Students who entered CNU under the MOU with partner institution: 3 extra credits

- After registering courses online, students must confirm selected courses and check whether the total credit hours does not exceed the maximum number of credit hours allowed for each semester.

- PhD students may not retake a class he/she has received credit for as an MA student.
