- You need to stay home and to take remote classes
for two weeks from the beginning of the spring semester. This applies to all
courses offered at both undergraduate and graduate levels. * Please note that
there will be make-up classes during the semester for certain types of courses
including field practice courses, courses with in-class experiments.
- Tentatively, all classes will be offered remotely
from March 16, 2020, Monday to March 27, 2020, Friday. It should be noted
that this period can be extended, depending on the development of the
COVID-19 spread.

1. Types
of Classes to be Conducted Remotely
l
Classes
will be conducted remotely through our e-class at https://sel.jnu.ac.kr/login.php?errorcode=4&lang=en by assignments, on-line lectures, real
time video conferencing, and K-MOOC.
l
Since
individual courses will have their own protocols, one should inquire about the
exact methods to the department office, or to the individual lecturers. You are
also advised to log on to e-class latest by March 16, 2020, and to check on
your registered course notices for more information.
2. Attendance
Recognition/Substitution and Procedure
l
As
for those international students who have been subject to delayed/cancelled
flights or to self-isolation for 14 days, attendance will be substituted upon
the submission of proper proof (for ex., Airline’s email on cancellation, plane
ticket or entry certificate).
l
As
for those who have been tested positive for COVID-19 or been subject to
mandatory self-quarantine, they need to submit certificates issued by the head
of our medical clinic or a copy of transcript issued by a medical doctor or a
hospital.
l
If
you fall within either of the above categories, you need to submit your
application for recognition and proof to the department office. Once your
application is approved by the dean of the relevant college, you shall submit approval
the approved application to the lecturer of the class.
3. Miscellaneous
l
Depending
on the future development of COVID-19, the individual lecturers may extend the
period for remote classes after consulting with the students in the class.
l It shall be noted that grant of leave of
absence from this semester is permitted for freshmen and new transfer students.

1. 재택수업 방식
❍ 우리 대학 e클래스(http://sel.jnu.ac.kr)를 활용한 과제물 활용 수업 및 원격수업, 실시간 화상 수업, K-MOOC 등
❍ 해당 교과목에 따라 재택수업 방식이 상이할 수 있으므로 재택수업의 구체적인 방식은 해당 교과목 주관학과(부) 또는 교과목 담당 교원에게 문의
2. 출석 인정 및 절차
❍ 외국인 유학생의 경우 코로나19로 인한 입국지연 및 입국 후 14일 간 자율격리 후 학생이 관련 증빙서류*를 제출한 경우
* 항공사의 비행기티켓 취소·결항 안내메일, 비행기티켓, 출입국사실증명서
❍ 해외출국사실이 없는 경우에도 코로나19 의심 및 확진 학생이 관련 증빙서류*를 제출한 경우
* 진단서 또는 진료확인서 또는 학내 보건진료소장 확인서
❍ 해당 학생이 출석인정원과 증빙서류를 소속 학과(부)에 제출하여 학(원)장의 허가를 받아 출석인정허가서를 교과목 담당교원에게 제출
3. 기타 사항
❍ 코로나19 사태 추이에 따라 재택수업 기간 이후에도 입국지연 또는 일정기간 수업에 참여할 수 없는 경우, 교과목 담당교원이 학생들의 의견 수렴 후 재택수업 기간을 연장할 수 있음
❍ 기타 부득이한 사정으로 이번학기 휴학을 원하는 학생이 있을 경우 신ㆍ편입학 학생도 휴학을 할 수 있음
