Program Timeline

  1. Application Period: September 16, 2025 (Tue) ~ October 15, 2025 (Wed)
    • How to Apply:
      • Log in to the Graduate School website
      • Navigate to Student Growth Support > GradGrow (Extracurricular Activities).
      • Fill out attachments 1–5 as instructed in the guide, save them as a single PDF file, and name it Department_Name.pdf (e.g., Business_John Doe.pdf).
      • Upload the file and click Apply at the bottom of the page.
      • * Files larger than 10MB cannot be attached

2. Scholarships
Financial support varies by region and duration of stay.

Eligibility and Evaluation

  1. 1. Eligibility:
    • - General graduate school students in master’s or doctoral programs (including post-course registered students).
    • - Individuals expected to enhance their research and global competencies
    • - Applicants who have previously received support for 2–4 months may apply for up to a total of 6 months.

    • Applications are reviewed based on eligibility and application documents (not on a first-come, first-served basis).

Scholarship Payment and Regulations

  • Payment is made based on submission of required documents:

      Important Notes:
      • Non-compliance with program x-objectives or false information will result in cancellation of support and scholarship recovery.
      • Changes to the research schedule require prior consultation and submission of a modification form.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  1. 1) Are the countries/host institutions/periods designated?
  2. No, there are no fixed set destinations or durations. You are free to identify and proceed with a research plan based on your own research topic.
    Though the graduate school does not arrange the host institution directly, we can issue a certificate of international joint research support if you need to submit. It is also available for the visa application purpose.

    2) Is it possible to modify the research period once it has been approved?
    No, you must complete the research period stated in your application.
  3. If you need to shorten or adjust the period due to personal or unavoidable circumstances, please contact the graduate school office and submit a change application form.
    If you need to change your departure or return dates, please be aware that the scholarship is calculated based on the number of full months of stay, within 30 days counted as one month.
  4. (60 days = 2 months, 59 days = 1 month, applications not accepted or may result in cancellation)
    However, if the change is due to delays in administrative procedures of the host institution, airline issues, or similar unavoidable factors, the scholarship may be adjusted in accordance with university regulations after submitting a statement explaining the reason.

    3) Is it mandatory to obtain a visa?
    Yes, under the program guideline, obtaining and submitting a valid visa is mandatory. Failure to submit a visa will result in ineligibility for scholarship payment.
    Please ensure that the visa type corresponds appropriately to your purpose of stay. (i.e., research activities).
